We are locals that care about our community and work hard to see it grow.

JAIME ODELL

President

Jaime Odell has lived in Alberton since 2003 with her husband, Brad, her three children, and often what feels like too many pets. She works from home as an Editorial Manager for Online Training Solutions, Inc. Her love of the Alberton community has grown each year she’s lived here, reaching the point that she felt compelled to join PEAK in an effort to give back to the community that has given her such a great place to live.

MELISSA HORN

Vice-President

Melissa Horn and her husband are both Montana natives and the parents of two beautiful children. She works part-time at the Do Crew Salon in Missoula as a hairdresser. She enjoys all of the outdoor activities that Montana has to offer, her favorite being fishing followed by 4-wheeling. Melissa is also a reader, quilter, cake decorator, and scrap booker. She was compelled to join PEAK after their 2013 Winter Festival, where she realized that it was a group that is working toward making positive changes for the young children in the community. With her own children now growing up in this quaint town, she wishes for there to be ample opportunities from them to engage in fun activities with children their ages outside of school events.

NICOLE BRENDAL

Secretary

Nicole has lived in Alberton for 10 years hailing from Lolo. She loves being with her two boys and all of her 13 goats, 2 pigs, 2 lamas,  donkey, mini mule, 19 chickens, 4 dogs, 3 cats. Oh yeah and lets not forget her 48th animal, her husband Tracy.

She joined PEAK because she wanted to make a difference in the community for her son.

She is a Lab technologist in Missoula for Western Montana Clinic.

JANEL BICHA

Treasurer

Janel Bicha is a Montana-born native raised in Missoula. She is married and has two children- her daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren live in Alberton, while her son lives in Portland, OR. She retired in 2014 after working twenty years as a bank teller. Janel became the treasurer after her daughter, Melissa, asked her to become involved with the PEAK Foundation. She felt compelled to join because her two grandchildren are growing up in the Alberton area.

LAURA ACKER

Laura Acker is originally from Minneapolis, MN but after living in Montana for 13 years calls Alberton her home. She shares her life with her husband and three beautiful children. Laura’s outgoing personality lends naturally to her passions in community organizing and non-profit development.  She has obtained the majority of her skills through volunteering within the community of Alberton, while taking time off work to raise three children. Spearheading the local food pantry is by far one of her greatest accomplishments.

Developing PEAK (Promoting Excellence in Alberton area Kids) is important to Laura because she recognizes that the Alberton area is in desperate need for activities that are specific to children and young adult’s interests. Laura is honored to be working in a group of dynamic and passionate community members such as these.

ROSIE SIBERT

Rosie Sibert moved to Alberton in 2004 from Utah. She and her husband Matt have three boys, Jaymen (1997) , Demetry (2004), and Ash (2017). She has been a member of the Alberton Sportsmen's Club since 2012, and works as a Long Term Care nurse, as well as a Camp Mak-A-Dream volunteer since 2010.

Rosie loves hiking and cross country skiing in the mountains around Alberton, and enjoys floating the river and hanging out on Alberton's sandy beaches on warm summer days. Her family spends the summers camping, fishing, and exploring Montana's wilderness.

Rosie and her husband have been vendors at the Alberton Farmers' Market since 2011, with their own business Chronic Creations. She loves animals, and has many different pets, including two dogs, two cats, three ferrets, salt water fish, and a turtle at last count. On a clear night you can catch her outside looking at the stars. She would also prefer to "play" in her garden all day than do house work.
