Holidays can be stressful, particularly in this time of collective hardship. Feelings of loss, uncertainty, and high expectations can worsen these challenges. The Giving Tree is a place for community support, celebration, and remembrance.

  • Are you missing someone this holiday season? We will light the community tree onSaturday, December 5. Between now and the holidays, you’re encouraged to come by and leave a remembrance candle by the tree.
  • Could you use a little extra help? If you need clothing or food for your family or gifts for a child, please contact PEAK (contact information below) by December 17th. Include your name and address, the request, and any other relevant information that will help the purchaser. We will place a tag on the Giving Tree without including identifying information.
  • Can you help a family in need? To support families struggling at this time, watch  the Giving Tree for anonymous tags. Fulfill that request by removing the tag from the tree and dropping off your unwrapped gift in the Alberton School office (Monday through Thursday from 8-3:30) or contact us by Dec. 23 for pickup. PEAK members will deliver gifts by December 24.
